Terms of use.
The terms on which you may use this website. The most important one, and the one people actually need: everything here is general information, not advice about your business, and prices change without notice — always confirm with the vendor before you buy.

The short version
Fizoral publishes general guidance, not financial, tax, accounting or legal advice. Software prices and promotions change frequently and without notice — confirm current pricing on the vendor’s own website before you purchase. We work hard to be accurate but we do not warrant that everything here is correct or current, and our liability to you is limited as set out below. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
1. Who we are and how to contact us
This website is operated by Fizoral. Postal address available on request — email info@fizoral.com., trading as Fizoral.
You can contact us at info@fizoral.com or via our contact page.
2. By using this site, you accept these terms
By accessing or using Fizoral you confirm that you accept these terms of use and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
We may amend these terms at any time by updating this page. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the amended terms, so please check this page from time to time.
3. Our content is information, not advice
Nothing on this website constitutes financial, tax, accounting, regulatory or legal advice, and nothing on it is a personal recommendation. We publish general information about accounting software for UK businesses. We do not know your circumstances, your turnover, your VAT position, your industry or your obligations to HMRC or Companies House.
Before making any decision that carries financial or tax consequences you should take advice from a suitably qualified professional — an accountant, a tax adviser or a solicitor as appropriate. We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and we do not provide regulated services of any kind.
Statements about a product’s suitability — including any statement that a product is “best”, “cheapest” or right for a particular type of business — are our editorial opinion, formed by the method published on our How We Research page. They are not a guarantee of suitability for you.
4. Pricing: confirm it with the vendor before you buy
This point deserves its own section because it is the one most likely to affect you in practice.
- Prices and promotions change frequently and without notice. Introductory discounts in this category are typically revised monthly, are usually restricted to new customers, and generally do not renew.
- Every price we publish is a snapshot, taken from the vendor’s own UK pricing page on the date stated on that page. It may be out of date by the time you read it.
- Figures are ex VAT unless we state otherwise, and are in pounds sterling.
- Our multi-year totals are models, not quotations. They project a known promotional rate followed by a known list price across a stated period, using the assumptions published on our methodology page. Your actual bill depends on the plan you choose, the offer available when you sign up, your billing frequency, any add-ons and any subsequent price rises by the vendor.
- You must confirm current pricing, plan features, user limits, VAT filing capability and Making Tax Digital status directly with the vendor before you subscribe. The vendor’s own checkout is the only authoritative source for what you will pay.
If you find a price on this site that is wrong or out of date, please tell us — we will check it and correct it, and we date-stamp corrections.
5. No warranty on accuracy or availability
We take real care over accuracy: our figures are taken from vendors’ own published UK pricing pages, checked before publication and re-verified at least monthly, and we show our arithmetic so it can be independently checked.
Even so, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the content of this website is provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. In particular we do not warrant that the content is accurate, complete, current or free from error, that any product described will meet your requirements, or that the site will be available uninterrupted or free from viruses or other harmful components.
We may change, suspend, withdraw or restrict all or any part of the site without notice, and we are not liable to you if the site is unavailable at any time or for any period.
6. Third-party websites and vendors
This site contains links to third-party websites, including software vendors. Those links are provided for your information only. We have no control over the contents of those sites, we do not endorse them by linking to them, and we accept no responsibility for them, for their content, for their pricing, or for any loss or damage arising from your use of them.
Any contract you enter into with a software vendor is between you and that vendor. We are not a party to it, we are not an agent or broker for any vendor, and we cannot resolve a dispute, a billing problem, a refund request or a cancellation on your behalf. Please read the vendor’s own terms and privacy policy before subscribing.
Some of our links are affiliate links, which are explained in full in our affiliate disclosure.
7. Limitation of our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We exclude all conditions, warranties, representations and other terms that might otherwise be implied into these terms by statute, common law or otherwise.
- We will not be liable to you for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, this site, or your reliance on any content on it.
- If you are a business user, we will not be liable for loss of profits, loss of business, business interruption, loss of anticipated savings, loss of goodwill, loss or corruption of data, or any indirect or consequential loss.
- If you are a consumer, we will not be liable for any loss that was not foreseeable at the time you used the site, or for any loss arising from your use of the site for a commercial purpose.
In particular, and for the avoidance of doubt, we are not liable for any cost, charge, tax liability, penalty or other loss arising from a purchasing decision you make in reliance on pricing published here. Pricing on this site is a dated snapshot of a vendor’s published rates and must be confirmed with that vendor before you commit.
8. Intellectual property
We own or are licensed to use all intellectual property rights in this website and in the material published on it, including the text, the comparison tables, our pricing models and calculations, our design and our brand. Those works are protected by copyright and, where applicable, trade mark laws.

Product names, logos and brands of third parties — including Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and FreeAgent — are the property of their respective owners. Their use on this site is for identification and comparison only and does not imply any affiliation with, endorsement by, or sponsorship from those companies.
9. Acceptable use
You must not use this site in any unlawful way or for any fraudulent purpose. In particular you must not knowingly introduce viruses or other malicious material, attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its servers, attack the site by denial-of-service, or use automated tools to scrape, harvest or systematically copy content. 10. Your data
We process personal data in accordance with our privacy policy, which explains what we collect, our lawful basis for processing it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and what rights you have under UK data protection law.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms, their subject matter and their formation are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Both parties agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction.
12. Contact
